We did a service project at Spark tonight where we made trailmix bags and supper packs for a local non-profit that fights child hunger called Kid's Food Basket.  You can find out more about Kid's Food Basket by clicking this link: http://www.kidsfoodbasket.org/ .

Scroll down to view some pictures along with captions showing what we did throughout the night.

The ingredients for the trailmix bags: Goldfish, cheerios, peanuts, raisins and pretzels.

The students had a lot of fun mixing them together in the tubs.  In case you were wondering, we had the students wash their hands and wear gloves before handling all this food.  :)

The assembly line in full swing.

All together the group made about 600 trail mix bags. Kid's Food Basket sends out over 7,500 sack dinners each weekday, so our trailmix bags will be used up in one day!  We also made about 80 snack pack bags containing a drink, a fruitcup and a granola bar that get sent home in Kid's Food Basket Supper packs.

Here is a picture of our game for the night: Gaga Ball.

We had a lot of fun serving God and fighting hunger at Spark tonight!
